Multi-Biology Day, Innsbruke, Austria

Multi-Biology Day was sponsored and organized by Geo magazine from Hamburg, Germany. The aim of the activity is to find biological diversity and give biology a new category.

Geo magazine have held this activity every two years since 1998.

Scientists and students from both Germany and Austria were invited to join in. They were divided into different group to work in different areas of the Alps to look for insects, plants, and animals that belong to different categories. Because Innsbruke lies in a valley of the Alps, it is an ideal place for them to find a diverse range of flora and fauna.
